Default Penn state sanctions end early

Thoughts?
I think it stinks. I also think its due to the other big ten teams suffering losses. Gotta do their best to have a big ten team in the playoff?

Since I'm an Alum I am biased. As for helping out the big ten this year PSU has no shot at running the table. They will be very good in 2016 and beyond.

Truthfully, regardless of the sanctions put on the school, there is now an entire generation of people that associates the name Penn State to one of the most disgusting/despicable scandals in the history of the world. Sanctions or not, it's going to take a very long time before people hear the name Penn State and not think of what went on despite the record of any sports team out of Happy Valley. This is a punishment that goes much further than any sanctions for athletics.

The coach is being made out to be a Christ-like figure.

This contrived nonsense has been planned for some time.

Not like the NCAA had any credibility to begin with.

I never thought they should have been banned anyway. I am never in favor of punishing innocent people for the crimes of others.

any attendees were aware of the sanctions against the school-it was the school being punished. they wouldn't have been sanctioned had they chosen to act instead of ignoring what was happening.

as for 'innocent people'..i guess no ncaa sanctions should ever be put on any school, ever?

I respectfully disagree. I liken what they are doing to Greyhound punishing the bus, the next driver, and his passengers if I have an accident while driving. None of them had anything to do with it. Criminal charges should be on all those that were responsible.
