My wife and I went and saw the movie flicka my thoughts

Absolute beautiful camera work in catching horses and their stride.
Tim Mcgraw is not a half bad actor
A great family movie you can take young kids to this and they would enjoy it.
It's not that sad. I know people have said it was a tearjerker, but i didn't really see it.
Movie has a very loose plot and they really do not get into character developement

Overall i give it 3.5 hooves

I got dragged to this movie expecting nothing but "cheese" but it wasn't too bad. It was beautiful cinematography. I might visit Wyoming next summer. I liked the message that was at the end of the movie. I think I might have a little "mustang" in me.

horse was claimed for 15K in one start and won the BC Classic next out.
wtf is that?
made the BC Classic look like a race that could be won by a loser.

It was a good family movie. Not academy award winning (except for maybe cineametography (however you spell that)). But overall I throughly enjoyed the movie. Took a bunch of young girls from the barn I ride at and they all loved it. One of them owns a 1/2 mustang. She gave him a big hug when we got back to the barn.

And Tim McGraw is becoming a decent actor. He is no Tom Hanks, but decent none the less. Quite handsome too, although I don't know if I like the clean shaven better than the goatee, but I wouldn't kick him out of bed either way...

Oh and I think we need to add the dude who played the son to the "hottest young guy" category.
