Proposed Venue October 14 - Charles Town
The BC preps are virtually all behind us, and the choices for Saturday are a little sparse. I suggest a change of pace by going to Charles Town Races for a group of small stakes races for West Virginia breds, including the $350,000 West Virginia Breeders Classic Stakes.
First post for this 9 race card will be at 7:00 PM Eastern. "Country roads, take me home ..." |

The Charles Town races sing a song,
Doo-da, Doo-da The Charles Town racetrack's not so long Oh, de doo-da day! (With apologies, of course, to Stephen Foster. ) |

And they have such great names for some of them, i.e. West Virginia Thoroughbred Breeders Association Onion Juice Breeders Classic Stakes. By the time the announcer gets through saying "And they're off in the [full name of race]", they will be heading for the short back stretch.
