ROI Results 1/22 @ Fair Grounds

Fair Grounds proved to be quite a challenge on Saturday but the results weren't as bad as I
imagined. Three payout slots were filled and 7 tickets were cashed in all. Eclipse had one
winner and Zippy had three but neither made it to the breakeven point. I had an exacta
which was disallowed. Apparently trying to put two horses through the rail is frowned upon
in Louisiana. Plenilune takes third place with a $50 win bet on Hazy Command in the 7th
worth $115. Cruzan went hog wild with a $15.60 place payoff in race 6 and got back $195
for his Hogslaying pick and the number two spot. Indian Hemp cruzed on by the field in
race 8 with a $50 win / place bet on the double digit winner Cowan. Still it was a bad break
that a ML 8-1 horse only paid $10 and change. Nice pick there Indian Hemp, nicely
played and congrats on the win. Following are the unofficial results pending an inquiry
