Dr Fager,
Your pic doesn't show the bottom half, which I like better... the people wandering around like they're in a dream.

Call me crazy; I'm suspecting that the artist is offering commentary on our celebrity-idolizing, mass-marketed culture. And doing it well, to judge from the attention the picture is getting. How long, do you think, before some group expresses their outrage?

GR,
Trust me, the bottom half of that painting is much better.
I'll search for the full version.

I've seen it; that's why I assume the artist is commenting on mass-marketed culture- bunch of people wandering around Wal-Mart, with Angelina Jolie painted in the style of a Catholic idol floating above them, holding her kids (can I be any more tired of celebrity babies?).

(These days I'm happy when I actually understand a piece of contemporary art!)
