Default Early DD Mountaineer 1/22

In the opener i'm going to use the 7 and 10.The 10 doesen't like too win to often but the horse has been racing better than anyone in the field. The 7 intrigues me since 6 furlongs is his best distance. In the 2nd i'm using the three ouside posts. The 8 and 9 havebeen running well lately and the 10 is dropping and picking up Whitney who came back from the break on fire. The early double 7,10/8,9,10.Good luck.

Looks like some great value in the second race, 10 is 8-1 ml and there are other contenders at decent prices. I'm gonna play the 4 in the first, I don't think he's as bad as his PP's and the trainer change doesn't hurt. DD's are 4/10 w 4/7/10. Good luck tonight.

Excuse me boys, I'm feeling a little ill right now. That's the Mountain for ya! And yes I now realize the rider on that bomb in the first had not won a race in forever.........but then again, this is the MTN! Had the 7 held on it was $2175 for Skinny, but it was not to be. But the lesson here is that the 4 in the first was not that bad of a horse (see Calder) and the trainer change helped him. Sometimes we all overlook that.

Default Mountaineer 6th

That's my next bet.Seems like the inside is OK and i think there is plenty of speed to mix it up early so i'm betting the 1 to come right back and win.

The 3 could be the on the pace closer going back to 5.5 furlongs but i make it a habit if the horse i like gets scratched i don't bet.No need to chase.Better off being patient.

Default The late double.

In the 8th the 6 looks to be the speed and the 10 to stalk him on the outside.I don't give much creedence to the rest of the field. In the finale the 7 and 8 show good speed and might knock each other out.I'll still use the 8 but i'm also using the 2 and 3.The 2 ran against the 8 and didn't lose to him by much. The 3 is shipping from Hawthorne for the dangerous Larry Rivelli. The bet 6,10/2,3,8.Good luck.
