I saw them about a year and a hlf ago and they were awful...they were so into 'performing' and creating a stage 'presence' that the music ended up secondary...just onstage chaos...a lot of running around carrying a drum and falling down...I like their music but I'll never pay for another show of theirs, JMO

You're talkin about Arcade Fire? I'll keep that in mind. I saw RHCP a few years ago at the "X" in St Paul, and was disappointed. They owe me a show for a band of their calibur lol (which I probably won't get).

yeah arcade fire...I like their music (on the radio) but in person no thanks...but maybe they have improved since then...after all it was a while ago... when I saw them there were a couple members who were very obviously either drunk or on drugs and the performance really suffered.

I saw the chilli peppers as an opening act in like 89...they opened for the violent femmes at a college show...back then they were incredible...even though at the time I had never heard of them...
