![]() Burying Barbaro at CD would be an honor he derserves. I wish the Jacksons would stop screwing around and accept the offer. He also deserved to be buried whole, and not his cremated remains.

![]() Well, they're talking about building a local racing museum up in the Philly area. I think that's just a good a spot as any to put him. Plus, you could also build on the Smarty Jones-Afleet Alex-Barbaro tradition that has been established the last three years. Hopefully add Hard Spun, eh?

![]() They've said they want to bury his ashes somewhere the public can come visit, so wherever they decide, it likely won't be their farm. I think that's really classy of them, and a nice final gift to his fans.

![]() Forgive me for my ignorance, but is cremation usually done? Personally I don't like the thought of Barbaro being cremated. But then again, that's just me.

![]() i plan to be cremated when i die. certainly don't have a problem with barbaro being cremated.
i'd imagine they did it for just this reason-not sure yet where he would be buried. not like you can wait very long without having done so. also, maybe they are considering having him buried at a track--and there are VERY FEW intact horses buried at tracks. |

and good point about cremation being better than the head, heart and hooves...I've always found that barbaric. |
