Thanks very much Digger, and thank you for scoring. That was a very tough card, perhaps to get us ready for an even tougher pair or cards ahead.
I can't think of a more opportune time to win the points contest. No pressure of picking the next venue since it is already picked for us. Post positions were drawn for both days last night and the cards are set. Now we just have to start digging to try to find a few golden nuggets. The truly international flavor of this year's BC is best exemplified by Rachel King, who will be riding Satono Carnaval in the Juvenile Turf Sprint. I believe that she was born in Great Britain, currently rides in Australia, is riding a Japanese based horse in a race in Southern California. She will need to get back to Melbourne for Monday's $5 million Melbourne Cup at Flemington Race Course.
