Looks like a spectacular card. Hats off to the racing secretary for hustling, in particular the Alysheba, I figured with the heavy hitters Normandy Invasion and Will Take Charge pointing there the field would be really short. Those guys don't get enough credit for what is a REALLY tough job.

they sure have, and was the first thing i thought about. and with rough ride last time, it was the right time to move. and i think it's a better jock.

At this point is Stevens definitely better then Saez? I think its very close.
Plus they won a bunch of huge races with Saez and I guess the ride was questionable last time, but they still won and did not get DQ. |

It doesn't sound like I missed much not getting NBC Sports Network, but it would have been nice to have seen the Oaks in real time!
Untapable to the Preakness???

Shouldn't they wait to see how her stablemate fares in the Derby first?

If Tapiture won and you're sitting with the top colt and filly....You give the colt a chance at the TC. I believe that's Steve's point.

I think they wait and see also.
I feel bad for the people who bet fashion plate!! That was ridiculous that they did not pull her out of the gate and look at her. It sure looked like she got tangled up in the gate. Gary Stevens jumped right back on her and that was a mistake. But those who bet on her got screwed!! |

Why run in the Preakness? Aim higher....
