![]() Worked another 6F in 1:12 and change again yesterday and seems ready for his comeback.
I saw he was nominated for the bob lewis stakes this weekend, and wasn't surprised being that it might be difficult to fill a race for his condition, and/or Frankel isn't afraid to bring a horse back off a long layoff in an ambitious spot. With that being said, here's what the Gulfstream website mentioned today. "Frankel may also be involved in Saturday's $150,000 Hutcheson Stakes (G2) at 7 ˝ furlongs with Live Oak Plantation's Les Grands Trois. The 3-year-old son of Officer won his only race last July at Belmont Park by nine lengths, but was sidelined until recently. “We had to take a chip out of his ankle after his win,” said Frankel. “He's back and he's ready to run, but he's in California and we'd have to work out some things to get him here.” |

I know you're friendly with the Live Oak people. Judging by his works, it looks like he's ready to roll... Have you heard good things? |

![]() Been watching this bad boy for a while. With the lightly raced weak 3 year old division it's any horse's game this year.
Other than a strong performance by Rags to Riches (Ravel too) we haven't seen much. And it's nearly March. |
