Moss Pace Factor
anyone use them? Usually have the hard copy DRF but looked at them last Saturday and I'd say I'm indifferent.

I Had Them On My Sa Pp's And Thought They Were Worthless. Im Not A Math Major But If U Can Get A Winner Out Of Those....good Luck.

I agree...Useless. They seem to track the race position at the splits so just rely on the good old fashioned pp's to get a sense of pace.

Dell- DO NOT ignore these figures. They will be very helpful if used correctly. Mikey probably uses them the wrong way and just plays highest number. Will give you a call soon my old friend....... I needed to get that thing done

John (I think that's you) Mike pretty much sticks with 6f races (by the way he's on here but not posting) and figures his own numbers out (the formula usually gives a front runner) But it seems easy enough to tell a race pace by times and then judge an individual horse by lengths back. I could see it may be of help when comparing a field from different tracks but that only works if the numbers are correct. Also I think a horse that was pushed on the lead for most of the race and finishes well is more of a positive than a horse that was clear on the lead with no pressure regardless of finish times provided they're relatively close.
