A Poy-em For Thebby
BEHOLD:
My heart is fond of things so free It floats to them as does the bee But somehow I feel wanting My heart seeks more than just the sea What is it... keeps me haunting What keeps my task so daunting I must raise my thoughts up high There I will go jaunting Way up in the sky The meridian marker makes me sigh For I look above And I do see with my own eye The painting of my love The sainting due the dove For I view the celetsial nebula And my heart fills with Thebula And no one knows by where I go And no one knows by where I go by Mortimer Dexter Foxworthy I bow |
