Default Street Sense Not For Me....

Is there anyone else who is going to leave him off their tickets on Saturday?

I just don't see him doing much when it is time to do it.

Isn't the gamble whether Nafzger has him primed for this Saturday? I haven't seen anything from him this year that makes him stand out from any others.

A nose victory over an over-rated Pletcher horse who will run 10th in the Derby, and a nose defeat by a rapidly improving animal who was running in his first "big" race.

Is the consensus that he will just improve by 5-10 lengths just because he is back at Churchill where he won the Juvenile?

What has this horse done to separate himself this year? Work out at Churchill last week in .58?

I simply do not agree with this..Nafzger will have him primed, that really isnt the question..He's a fresh horse.. The TB derby(which he WON) was his first race back since the BC..He finds ways to be there at the wire and I dont see that trend wavering anytime soon..His figures are amongst the best and he's been working like a beast..

What has any other contender done? AGS isn't overrated IMO... leave AGS and SS off your tickets at your own risk.

I love Street Sense... He proved he liked this track and doesn't like Keenland. I expect a big race from this one

I don't think he disliked Keeneland.

I think he popped a huge effort in the BC and isn't any better than the rest of the crop.

One impressive victory at two, two preps where he didn't stand out, and a few workouts at churchill and he will be the favorite.

Doesn't add up to me.

I'm leaving him off.

And AGS doesn't have a shot in my opinion.

Circular Quay is the one.

I couldn't disagree more... CQ is a nice enough colt, but I'm not certain he'll get the kind of pace meltdown he's going to need in order to win. BTW, I believe that Curlin will be the favorite.

I don't see how someone can bash Street Sense's 2007 on the one hand then pick a horse who hasn't run since the Fillmore administration to win the race on Saturday.

I'm thinking the pace will be ideal, that is why I am sticking with him.

SS will be a tick lower than Curlin when those prices pop up in my opinion.

People will get off of Curlin this week.

It seems a bit strange to me for you to toss Street Sense if you like CQ. If you think the race is going to have a pace scenario that sets up nicely for CQ, wouldn't that also be a favorable pace scenario for Street Sense?
If you are going deep and betting TRIs and Supers, leaving SS off seems like a poor move to me.
It is at least possible that he is quite simply the best horse in this crop on dirt.

SS's two impressive victories have been the result of an open rail - with 20 gunning, I'm not going to count on him getting the rail....I liked him until watching the major preps...in my opinion he has benefited from perfect trips that will simply not exist on Saturday...

I don't think Street Sense is the same type of horse as Circular Quay. I don't think he gets the rail and I don't think he finishes if he is put in a position to win on Saturday.

The pace setup will be good, and Circular Quay will eat it up in my opinion. We will see how wrong I am on Saturday though. I might be on here eating crow for hours and laughing at how stupid I was. But I'm not wavering until then. I think Street Sense is a toss.

I am leaving him off. I just haven't seen from him what I want to see. I wouldn't be totally surprised to have him win and if it does happen, he'll beat me. But u have to take a stand somewhere and I'm taking mine against him.

SS had another very nice workout at CD. This horse loves Churchill. I wouldn't be tossing him. I really like him. As of right now, he is my front runner to win the thing.
