They said he got kicked by the horse after he fell. Something about being conscious but they put him in a brace and took him off. I'm not sure what the latest news is.

Read in the NY Post he may have suffered a concussion, but other than that was OK... which is pretty darn amazing!

Great news hearing he's OK. That was very ugly. With that said...Can you imagine having money on that horse...makes a big move pulling away in the stretch and that happens. That's tough to take, but once again more importantly the jockey is OK.

I can't tell you how many times, jokingly, I've muttered down the stretch, "Just Don't Fall Off!" Up until yesterday, most didn't. That had to be as tough a way to lose as there is, and I am well versed in tough ways to lose.

I don't have to imagine it.

I was DQed at Tampa and had a rider fall off at Belmont in a short span. I went on to have my best day of what has been a good year. **** happens.
