Default Joe Pa cracks the whip!

Upset and disappointed about behavior of several of his players over the off-season, Joe has announced that the entire team will perform public service and clean the stadium after all home games...all I will say is, GOOD FOR HIM! When Joe does finally retire, college football will be very much the poorer!

Anthony Scirrotto should be given the pleasure of cleaning the urinals a with nice toothbrush in the student section at Beaver Stadium with all the drunk students pissing all over the place.

This is refreshing. I am amazed to hear Paterno's critics say that today's college game has passed him by. Not by a long shot. There is so much more to the game than trash talking and pimping for the camera. Discipline and character do matter and are a condition for keeping the privilege of playing a collegiate sport. It's nice to see the coach of a big time program letting everyone know there is accountability with his team. AND YES, college football will be much the poorer when he retires.

You and Somer are completely right. Joe Pa trying to keep his team from becoming a bunch of thugs and trying to make decent young men out of them.

at got the fans thinking at least

My new Beaver Stadium behavior plan Reply

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Missed block resulting in loss of yardage = 3 nachos dropped on floor.
2. TFL = I pick up 3 of those nachos
3. Allow 10+ yard run on D = cheese spill from nacho plate
4. False start inside either 10 yard line = half chewed hot dog spit out.
5. Give up 30 points on D = spill drink
6. Give up 7 or less points = wipe down seat and floor area with napkin
7. Beat ND or OSU by more than 20 = thorough scrubbing of entire row including floor, followed by cleaning of 3 toilets. Leave full flask behind as a gift.
8. Throw 2 INTS for TDs, give up 80 yard run and lose by 21 or more = I lose control of my bodily functions and mash it all around the nacho/drink/hotdog pile.

that man is one of a kind, he could educate many of his fellow coaches on how to teach players!!

as for when he retires......one of my kids asked me who would coach penn state when joe pa leaves, to which i so eloquently replied 'GAAAA'....after a few moments of trying to get my wits about me, i said i had NO CLUE-he's been there longer than i've been alive, to think of someone else on that sideline is beyond my ability to picture.
