Nice Job Arlington
In a continuing show of the 'new' Arlington this w/e is dedicated to the Armed Forces. Yesterday 24 of the 120 living Medal of Honor recipients were presented flags and then had a dinner/ball hosted for them last night.
Management pulled out the best of everything for these guys and rightfully so. Many, many tears (yea some were mine) were shed as a standing ovation went on until the last man limped or hobbled through the tunnel going back to the paddock after they got their flags. Each was in civilian clothing but they all had their medals on. The response they gave us was equally intense with them waving, blowing kisses and one guy even came out of line to give a kid a high five. Keep it up Arlington, you are firing on all cylinders and have the crowds and handle to prove it. Bravo
