Default Saratoga needs to get here

As I've mentioned before, I'm on a freshening until Saratoga, which means other than the occasional scratch-off ticket there has been no gambling.
Is it a bad sign that I put together a home run derby pool with my wife and my 9 and 12 year old sons? Anyway, my chances are slim we each drew two names and I have Rios and Ordonez. Before you know it I'll be taking bets on which of my two cats drinks their bowl of milk the quickest. Off to the Home Run Derby!!

Even better, the odds that "T" won't redboard about a race at the Spa or Yak banning Wayne from the OTB parlor!

Both would make for interesting odds.

It takes real discipline to avoid Ellis Park.

Your home run derby pool and cat bowl wager seem fine to me.
