Default the ocean...

had an amazing walk on the beach this am...wife and i.. two dolphin feeding 20 yards off the shore. a 1 foot shark feeding on minnows, a tarpon rolling in the waves..i live about 1 mile away and dont go enough ..it really is a calming feeling...........though i miss chi town alot..today was a great reminder..

That is awesome Hooves.

I used to live near Newport RI and would spend hours walking the cliff walk or sitting on a rock watching the waves crash in...it does provide a very calm and beautiful setting.

it's the only thing i miss since moving to arkansas. love the ocean--but fresh water fishing and boating will have to do.

we went to va a few years ago--got to see whales early one morning, dolphins right by the boat--oh man, the looks we got with our bass boat! lol it's funny--huge salt water boats with smaller motors, we have a bass boat with low sides, and a 150 horse evinrude...
which of these things is not like the other?

your killing me hooves. I miss the beach dearly. Not a day goes by I don't wish I was still there. The sand...the ocean..the sun...flip flops...laid back lifestyle...it suits me.
