It turns out that Stall 44, where Sumwon is, was the long time home to the wonderful JOHN'S CALL, double winner of the Sword Dancer, during his Saratoga stays...

Some interesting things I recall about JC:
John's Call was a $4,000 yearling who didn't win his first stake until age 8. He raced over the hurdles at one time. When Da Hoss returned from his 23 month layoff, he won a Colonial Downs allowance race by about a length, with John's Call running 2nd. The next month, Da Hoss won the Breeders Cup Mile for the second time.
