Default R8 8/23 'toga

I hate to speculate on racing politics....But will.

It sure seemed to me that JV buried this horse to give his boss a free ride to the lead - who susequently drew off...not a shot against Wait a While, but is there something to this? Or am I nuts??!!

Full disclosure - I didn't have the 1 and had the 7...Just looked out of sorts for JV...

Did JV screw Bianccone to insure WaW's victory? Knowing that the BEL meet and BC is coming up and wants to stay in good stead with Pletch...Shenanigans?

Considering JV is on about an 0 for 50 slump I don't think he would be in position to try and screw anybody.

He has 17 winners on the meet but when the heck was the last one? He may have one or two in there but I have to imagine his wins in his last 50 mounts is pretty terrible if not zero.
