![]() "Although the statement did not provide any detail, Magna said it will also explore selling partnerships in other racetracks, such as Santa Anita Park, and will attempt to sell parts of its PariMax unit, which includes the company's account-wagering platform, XpressBet; its horseracing television channel, HRTV; and a bet-processing company, AmTote.
Earlier this year, Magna entered into a partnership with Churchill Downs Inc. to form TrackNet, which buys and sell simulcast signals. As part of the agreement, Churchill purchased a 50 percent share in HRTV." http://www.drf.com/news/article/88487.html Newsflash: If you opened up your signal to all ADW's, you would have MORE CASH coming in. Magna's share will undoubtly get bought by Churchill, as Xpressbet will also, and hopefully Tracknet will be dissolved. According to PaceAdvantage, there is a conference call going on today between Scott Daruty, CEO of Tracknet; TVG's David Nathan; a Bloodhorse reporter, Ron Geary who owns Ellis Park, Sean Alfortish, head of the La HBPA, and Betovernetcapper, who is representing the players. This conference call, which has been kept secret, hopefully will provide some clearity and movement towards signals to all ADWs. More to update once BONC updates us. |

![]() How does this help Empire's Bid for NY racing that Bruno is desperately trying to keep alive? Isn't Magna a part of Empire? If Magna can't pay their own bills how are they going to manage in NY ? Look at Magna, they just want to rip people off with super high prices and all it does is kill the business.
