Baeza/Scalafani Group selected to run NYRA Slots

After being vindicated in what history will one day show to be the greatest abuse of the justice system, Braulio Baeza and Mario Scalafani have been awarded the exclusive franchise rights to run the slots casino at the NYRA tracks. It is the least New York State can do as an attempt to pay back these upstanding citizens for being mercilesly villified by Elliott Spitzer's crusade for the governorship. While the money is a small token in damage control it is hoped that the opening of the BRAMAR Hotel and Casino in Saratoga Springs will offer more lasting closure to this sad affair.
