Movie Review No Country For Old Men
So I was in the city tonight and I figured after a good steak dinner at The Cheetah Bar I'd head on over to the picture show and see that picture Tommy Lee is in.
I've always liked Tommy Lee. I remember the Wild Side tour where he did a flip on his drum set. Man that was awesome stuff. I tells ya they don't have a good geetar show like that anymore. Oh shucks there I go off the beaten path again. Heh heh. Hmm my stomach is turnin'. Maybe I shoulda got the steak well done insteada rare. Oh to hell with it I'll just take a few shots of E.W. That's Evan Williams for u city folk. Oh yeah about the movie. It was pretty durn good. Lotsa shootin and grandstandin and whatnot. What I didn't get is why that guy that done all the killin didn't get a haircut to disguise himself. Hmmph. I guess that director ain't that smart. Yeah it was good xcept for the endin. I didn't know what the hell that old sheriff was talkin bout. And where the hell was Tommy Lee? If ya asked me they shoulda cast him as the bad guy. |

Great......
Film, I had no problem with the ending at all. After all that Tommy Lee Jones's Sherriff had seen through his days on the job, it seemed to put everything in perspective. It was time for him to settle down, and close that chapter of his life. In terms of him being cast as the villian, as great of an actor as he is, I don't think that would have worked at all. To me the casting was perfect as is, Bardem was absolutely brilliant as Anton, and the cast as an ensemble was outstanding!
