OK, I hate racetrack stories, but this is sort of funny.....

I was betting the 8th at Gulfstream over the phone. I bet $100 to win on the 3, Mr. Whimsey ( no jokes about me being a pathetic chalk eating weasel please ). Then I started betting some doubles, at which point the operator said " There's no 11 in the next race. " Sure there is I said. Then she realized her error and was taking my bets at Turfway.....and they were in the gate at Turfway. Luckily we cancelled the Turfway bet and moved to Gulfstream. No big deal.

So now I'm half-assed watching the 8th at Turfway while I wait for Gulfstream and as they go over the wire I notice the 3 wins. That's funny, I think, as I guess I wish I hadn't bet doubles and realized my mistake. Then I see the odds.....he's 29-1!

He got DQ'd.

new big stable .. the trainer of the last that won at 60-1

as in the big stable at gs that beyer exposed.......

Wow, that was funny. I think you should send this story to some of the late night talk shows.
