Default 1/26: Magna 5/Sunshine Millions

Anguished leadup to Santa Anita portion of fun Sunshine Millions yielding to fruition with event looking like it will sneak in under new impending weather concern. As always, fascinating full fields await pairs of stakes P4's at both venues with added intrigue of Week 1 of lucrative Magna 5..

Took maddening miss at $1,200 ($1) AQU P4 Friday as confused stance in opener led to all button decision, and failure to single Runway Rosie instead of Greeley's Legacy sealed fate. "Best Value" winners Doc Cheney ($12.00) and Big Ira Davis ($23.00) bookended "Most Likely" Rosie ($3.20) and "Next Best" Temportary Saint ($18.40), and there was no excuse for not handing you the winning play.. Hope you did OK off the strong day of tabs..

R/D,

Hour 3 for Carla.. (Hour 2 for Sadler)...

She was obviously most concerned about the track conditions for Tiz Elemental's return.. but otherwise feels he's ready to go.

I did catch Sadler...thanks for the info Steve. I am not crazy about Sindy Jacobson in here, but that race is one of the most difficult of the day (for me). I landed on Blitzing, Phantom, and Yogi'ssplashofgold.

If the track plays to closers, got two "value plays" at SA...
3) #6 Highland Torree 12-1
4) #10 Dixie Dreamer 20-1 (ran well on synthetic and will have the set up, slight improvement losing the blinkers)

S/M SCR/CHG FOR GULFSTREAM...

Surprising SCR of Ruff and Ready.. I thought Icy Atlantic would come out. Does this say 'he's ready'?

Curiously Sweet didn't make the trip as Sadler informed us Friday on ATR. Suffered a little hoof bruise. Keep an eye on her though. She has nice things on the horizon...

8 SCR. # 6 BILLIE BOB

9 # 7 JOCKEY J.BRAVO
9 SCR. # 11 CURIOUSLY SWEET

10 SCR. # 9 RUFF AND READY

It probably says that Todd probably was always against running him back in just two weeks....and he finally was able to convince the owner.

Wish they hadn't scratched Georgie Boy. He had a slim chance IMO, and made the race a potential easy target for exactas...
