Am I the only one who thinks Elusive Fort has a shot in the Appleton?

Not sure if he would've won but it would've been nice if Douglas had made his move sooner. . . He let Prado get the jump on him and that might have been the 1/2 length difference. . .

Crazy prices on this Appleton board... 7 MTP...

Buffalo Man getting bet like iron.. 8-5? Elusive Fort a 'talking horse' at 6-1...

Fearless Eagle a crazy overlay at 19-1. Host 7-1...? Croton 13-1.

2-3-4-5 combos at these numbers... And playing 'Eagle' straight.

Eagle gets whacked by post time. 17-1 down to 11-1 in like two flashes.

VERY pleased for Gambolati and connections who have been super patient with a colt they always knew was a talent.

Goodbye and thanks to Host who was nice to have around these past 6 years... 10x winner of $1.1MM++.

I really like Bert's Law and Medjool to hit the board. Bert's Law has been running and closing nicely. Medjool, a son of Monarchos, has been running consistently well and improving.

Not sure how I'm gonna play 'em yet, but my tickets will have those two in the top 3.

I think Yankee Bravo may have spent a little too much in his last race to have much to give here.

FWIW, though Kasept mentions Medjool as #5, my morning entries show him as #4.

#4 Medjool, and #9 Bert's Law

Steve is right. Medjool is the 5, Bert's Law is the 9. Medjool will be breaking from the 4 post. Wish I had played this one.
There doesn't appear to be a lot of pace in here so I think that the 8 Tres Borrachos May be able to get the lead and keep
it. This look like a pretty contentious race. There are several proven entities on poly and two or three horses with a turf pedigree and they usually do well on poly. On second thought, maybe I don't wish I had played it. Good luck to those that did.

Sox & Dude,

Thx! Glad you scored.. 22-1 was a crazy price on Trilliant, but jeepers those exotics came back light. They must have hammer-keyed the O'Neill winner to death.. Trifecta $190.00 ($2)?? WTF?

Let's keep this rolling and get a price into the Quad!
