The horse was eased up to the point of barely moving before he went off to the tv screen.
They didn't actually show him getting tossed - but it certainly couldn't have come at much of a speed and he had to have an idea something was wrong because he eased the horse about a quarter of a mile before he got tossed. Must have made a horrible head-first landing.

Sorry he is definitely not the best Jockey in the world and probably not even the best jockey in north america. Christophe Soumillon is definitely better, Gomez is... and Prado probably is also.
Bejarano is a good journeyman jockey, he's not bad but I don't see him being in the top 5 Jockies if he were riding in the east.

Eibar Coa should be on that list, he's really a capable rider. All he needs is an agent of Anderson's talent to move him up significantly. One guy I like who wouldn't be on many top 10 and even top 20 lists is Elvis Trujillo, mainly rides at Calder but from what I have seen of him he seems to have horses in position for the most. You have to like his winning ride in the BC 2007.
