Default Tampa Bay 4

Always try to play a pick 4 at each tracks best day and at this oval that's plenty. Spent a winter working on the Oldsmar backstretch and although the quality of the population is better nowadays... A bit short of time.

Hillborough

Lears Princess and 'Anna will vie for favoritism and must be played but we will add MAY NIGHT. 5yo adds blinkers today and they were probably on for last Sundays work which was a career best for this mare only behind the very rapid Shaggy Mane. Trainer very weak but this mare can run and will like the cut in the ground as she won a stake as a maiden at Saratoga on a soft course. Three deep.

OAKS

No real handle here. No Use Denying, Calico Bay< Elusive Lady and My Baby.

TURF DASH

AROUND THE CAPE is pure racehorse. Bought for $290K as a yearling this ones dam earned a quarter of a million and is a stakeswinner going short on the grass. Two years ago this son of Carson City was unlucky not to win this race and the drills at Payson sizzling for a six year old, especially for this barn. Also FORT PRADO who was sent here early for this and has been "vacationing" at the new Ocala country club. Classy homer will not be hard to spot as the only gray and will be rolling late with a field where more than a few will not like the going.

DERBY

While most feel that War Pass will meet his waterloo this spring as the distance lengthens; will it be today????

Maybe.

BIG TRUCK comes off a very solid runnerup over this difficult to get a hold of course and has been working super. Tagg charge gets SIX big pounds and the champ, who has had a very strange schedule will have his hands full early with the cheap speed ( who put up $7500 to run) maybe today is the day. Playing 2,3,5 / 1,3,4,6 / 4,7 / 6 Good cappin. BBB

Not that well played if he left Lookingforthesecret off his ticket. Singling Big Truck was bold, but leaving off the most likely winner in the previous race was a rookie mistake.

Dude hit 2 out of 4 races.

Didn't realize, at first, that he missed the Oaks too...That at least was a tough race to call...Lookingforthesecret was a no-brainer to include though, and I'd like to see his reasoning behind leaving him off...Pretty amatuerish...The single of BT was bold, but the reality of the ticket barely paying for itself with a more reasonable Oaks winner/War Pass combo would have been enough to take a flyer on BT or Atoned in the last leg, I guess...

I know you get knocked but you need to give us your picks more often. Nice job.
