That would be who? The race still has to run and Big Brown has along road to travel for the first leg and with the patched up hoofs he has I would say No triple crown.

I'd like to see how many go onto the Preakness before I say a word about a Triple Winner. Does he have what it takes, maybe. History not on his side going into this one so he's already bucking the odds.

Mate with all the patchs and after this 1 1/4 on what was a sealed and scraped track that they never opened up I would say Big Brown's feet are going to be alittle sore tonight.

Great race and I would hpoe that he comes back with no problems for the next race, Mate.

Tale of Ekati was a drunken sailor before the stretch run and he still held for 4th.

This might have been a good time to admit you were wrong about Denis of Cork. You knew, or should have known, that it wasn't exactly a stellar group going into the race.

Uh no. The horse still was dusted and more than likely didn't run above a 96 beyer.

Just because this crop is horrendous doesn't mean I have to give this plug a pass.

Andy how did you do today with your bets for the derby I hadn't heard or read your thoughts pre race. Did you have this one figured out better than my own pitiful plays today leaving out the filly is just good enough for me to have nightmares for the month of May.

Go ahead and gloat, Big Brown backers (try saying that 3 times fast). You earned it, or rather your horse did.

Did Hank jump aboard Colonel John at the top of the stretch? CJ looked like he was making a good move, then he veered out wide coming off the turn and lost his momentum. Wasn't catching the winner, not with a :47 half, but might have beaten Recapturetheglory.

DoC will be toast, he won't run in anymore TC races, light framed horse that needs spacing. Forget about him for awhile.

the only one i can think of is Giacomo. seems when he won everyone i talked to said "well we got to wait another year." one of the telling things will be how many and who run against BB in the Preakness.
