Default Sar 7/30 Race 9- Prado does a good deed

You can only see this in the head on replay.

Castellano is riding the 2, Precious Lady. Prado is on 1, Ice Cool Kitty.

CAstellano's right rein breaks just out of the gate. Near the 1/2 pole (just before the camera angle changes), Prado, who is on the rail and immediately inside Castellano, reaches across in front of Precious Lady and, WITH HIS WHIP, moves the dangling right rein into Castellano's hand.

i saw that on TV, they showed the replay several times. it was cool how fluid he was doing it, he never missed a beat, didn't lose his focus on his mount, get off balance etc, just reacted on instinct and helped out the other rider who was having trouble.

never seen anything like that before.

Is the head-on video replay available anywhere? I tried NYRA.com and they just had the "standard" replay... Thanks

ESPN showed that during their broadcast this weekend. Bailey said that even he'd be lucky to grab it on the first try 1 out of 10 and couldn't believe Prado was able to do it.

Wow.

You can see the head-on at CalRacing.

Wow.
