![]() How exactly can you cap a race with 3 euro horses? Most of the time I've never seen one of these horses run, never really know the "class" of their races, never have a line in the pp's (just where they finish), and nothing to rate how they stack up to US horses (no speed #'s). So are you supposed to flip a coin when capping a race like this?

I truly never thought about looking for recent races for handicapping purposes on youtube at all. And certainly not specifically for the European horses. Much of my wagering comes when I have the time, motivation and opportunity, so I'm often scrambling to do the best handicapping I can when the opportunity strikes. I rely greatly on race replays when available, and duh.... never thought about going to youtube. |

![]() Use this site for horses coming to the USA that raced in "stakes races" overseas. Doesnt have all of them but has most, and many are Youtube links or Attheraces, etc.
http://www.masdehipodromos.com/calendarresults.cfm Might be easier to navigate then going to youtube. Find your horse or date and then click on thelittle tv set for the video. If no tv set icon then no video available. It will help in your trip handicapping vs racing post # conversions. |

![]() Thanks to all who have shared. Good information indeed!! Just got very frustrated today not having much of a clue about these horses and seeing them run 1 2 and the winner go off at 12/1. Thanks again!!

![]() that really doesn't work as often as you might think. also, altho spirit one came from france, he's got a more american than french pedigree:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/spirit+one2 so does archipenko-a us bred, sired by kingmambo. http://www.pedigreequery.com/archipenko2 anyway, i read that foreign horses don't really win that often here (i forget the exact percentage), but for some reason we think it happens far more often. but then, even tho randy moss tells us differently every year, many still think that pimlico has tight turns. it's funny, we hear how euros are so much better, but it seems that often their best came from the bluegrass of kentucky.

![]() no question the euros are much deeper on turf. their also rans like Red Rocks or Winchester or Spirit One win the top races over here. we normally don't even see their best come over here.
