Still have a week+ to find a reason not to run.

Default Curlin to the Classic

Per DRF..

“I think I owed it to the horse,” Jackson said on a national teleconference. “Curlin tells us he’s fit, and when a top athlete is ready, he wants to compete. And I do want to help enhance the fan base and give hardcore fans a chance to see him one more time.”

I'd really like to see him run in Japan, but I'm guessing from those comments that he'll be done next weekend.

the japan and clark are still possibilities. but i would think they won't go to either if curlin wins next week.

I suspect that he has a better chance of going if he wins. If he runs like sh@# they'll find that something is wrong and then he'll be retired.

He didn't, he is trying to throw one by the simpletons.....

Actually, he might have paid that much if they have him valued at 100 million or something......

exactly.. but I dont think there is any way he could get 100 mill. We do have to justify their values...

I don't know about you, but when I look at him, he looks gigantic. I mean he is really thick. I always think he looks too big! I thought the same thing before last years classic and lost my shirt.
