Andrew Sterling-Good for...?
I'm kidding..of course.
Is there a better horseyman around? Save Stevie Hasbeen? If it were not for Andrew....where would I be? Darted in perpetuality from every horsey board known to manmean......I would have been gone from here on post 2 were it not for this riot inspiring, yet kind ....man. Yes...the very same man that called me a fucl<ing azzhole. God knows he's always been there for me. So those of you who have been spin dried by his rapier like type----forget your petty vexations. Come now...come and post of this sharer of bit spitters---I mean winners. I've been a closet Andy fan for longer than some of you have been here. That's not very long---is it? Oh well...... .......SnowyWoods was opened in his honor. I can't say it any bettah than that.

On topic.
Andrew had that call in radio show about 3 years ago.I forgot what it was called. Maybe it wasn't on the radio.It may not have even been a show. Well it was something. Anyways---The Care-Lah dared me to call it...and gave me the number. So I dialed the number. I had never done that before. Not dialed a number. Called a radio show. Now...I expected to be put on hold and be forced to listen to an idiot recording for about 3 hours;telling me how they know my time is important and someone will be with me shortly. But noooooOOOOOO. My call was taken by a live person after 2 rings!! She said I would be the next on air caller in like 5 seconds!! I went beserk! What do I do? What do I say? I don't even know who I am!! Really...I figured I'd lay out my plan of attack while waiting for hours on hold. So there I was....fed to the lions with not even a slingshot. So the other guy took my call and asked what question I had. Now this is how stupid I am......I deepened my voice as low as I could so no one could recognize it. No one had ever heard my voice!! God. Keep in mind the show was bout Andrews picks at The Belmonts that day. So I told the guy I had a question on Andrews picks...so he gave me to him. Andy knew who I was because I gave the girl a hi sign password. Again...not having any notes...I asked him who he liked in The Thistleydowns 4th race today. So the other guy immediately says something like...I guess that takes care of this caller....and he hung up on me! Yet another time in space where the Good Lord knew Andy was there for me.

I recall another phone incident.
Another fine mess The Care-lah had gotten me into. She gave me his cell phone number and dared me to call him. It sounded like a familiar dare. I wondered to myself-----do ah feel lucky? Stupid is as stupid does. I called---wasn't in. I froze again as I knew he was famous so I just told the service it wasn't important and I would try again. Forgetting I left trace evidence of my phone number. So long forgotten...about a week or so later I answer my phone...."WHAT!?" It's a New York voice announcing himself as Andy Serling...and he got a call from this number only he has no idea who it's from... Oh boy. ...caught off guard again. I froze again. All I could do was laugh. Uh...Mr. Serling does not enjoy being laughed at by strangers who have called him...leaving no message. WHO IS THIS?....he said. But there was a problem. I forgot who I was again!! ror!!..REALLY! I forgot my pet name....so I laughed harder...which made him madder...WHOISTHIS!!?.......I said....come on ! don't you know? It's Dave. He didn't know me by that name. I was brilliant. I kept pressing to remember my board name as he got more insistent on knowing who the fucl< I was! Then he says.....MORTY!!? rule-eng un ze flour!! So I says...I says.......YES!! RIGHT!!!...HEY---YOU'RE GOOD! I don't recall much after that. He may have hung up on me again.
