Race 7: #9 Galaxy Tax - Looks a top pick and a good price...Coming back to favorite track where the horse excelled last year, tuned back up and ready to go in a race where pace pressure will be string leaving him ready to take charge in late stretch.

Thoughts?

Another really good race - haven't looked at the morning line ( a well documented joke here at Tampa) but I'm partial to Bernie Rhone's horses on the turf and Onotheregostokyo was a key part of an extra juicy P4 for me back in March. He loves the Tampa turf and gets my boy Dean Butler back this year. 2 sharp works since arriving at the friendly confines of Oldsmar...

Ness' horse could be trouble, but I doubt he draws in - a little rain on and off over the past few days as that front passed through, but we should certainly be fast and firm by post time. We typically don't get many turf scratches this early - you basically lose your date and won't get another start for a while so something would have to be pretty wrong to scratch.

Very interesting conditioned allowance with the presence of multiple GSW Dream Rush. Will be beat to the ground at the windows and depending on form could well be vulnerable. 180.00

He's might be a little short today. He may need one. Look for him to get a lot out of today and be ready to fire next out.

I would have made a back up bet with the 1,3,9 on top if I had any money left in my account
sure I could have deposited more but then it what would be the excuse next time.

saved money

what did it pay $3k+ ?

Spyder, nice work. You were right on the money with Galaxy Tax rolling late.

Bigs had the final PP's that showed the ownership change of Dream Rush from West Point to Minor Stables...Thought that to be pretty significant and clearly while she got it done in classy fashion, not the DR we are used to seeing. Would have loved to have seen the 6 nose up there, but the feature was out of reach on any reasonable spread P4 ticket - all in all great to get racing back home and while we came up a bit short today, had some tickets to cash along the way (rolling DD's party!!!) The BEST meet under the Florida sunshine to get us through the winter is always a lot of fun and we'll get em Wednesday!

Default Dream Rush - race 9

6 Furlongs. Alw 23500nc Purse $23,500 (includes $3,000 FOA - Florida
Owners Awards) FOR FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. Three Year
Olds, 120 lbs., Older, 122 lbs. Non-winners Of $11,250 Twice Since September 13 Allowed 2
lbs. $10,800 Since August 13 Allowed 4 lbs. (Maiden, Claiming, And Starter Races Not
Considered) .

Fly high - fall far

I know she didn't do anything but seems like a huge drop from running the BC Filly Mare Sprint to running in a low level allowance race at Tampa Bay.

Probably a paid workout but at 4/5, I will play against.

I like the #1 coming from Hawthorne

but will go with Rosemary on #5 D Day (better odds - maybe)

Pick 4

Race 8

1 - Islandprospectrbob - Ran super in his first Tampa race last year. Inconsistant type shows a nice bullet for this.
7 - Kenny Run - Let's see, Ness, Centeno, speed, huge drop in class....welcome to Tampa.

Race 9

7 - Dream Rush - Not sold on her, but I am not a fool.
4 - Lil's Lassie - Loves this place. Horse for course is huge early in the Tampa meet. Needs some help on the front end to not let Dream Rush get away.
6 - Orinoquia - Will be flying late if the speed comes back.

Race 10 - *Edit* Fanlight Fanny drawing in, adds to the pace up front. Race seems even more wide open now...

5 - Taletobetold - Catch her if you can.
7 - What She Said - My gut says stay away, but she is going so good right now. Lake usually flops at Tampa, so beware.
9 - Ahvee's Destiny - Loves the trip. Rosemary will be stalking....
10 - Bucky's Prayer - Versitile sort likes the Tampa grass.
6 - Jazzy - Not sold on her at all. Will include on class alone.
2 - Creative Design - Montalvo will have to work out a trip from the inside.

Race 11

12 - This Gal is Mine - Looks awful tough here.
3 - Sticky Wicket - Firster looks to have some speed.
5 - Free Light - Possible include on fatter tickets, been working well for Griffith/Kinsman. May want more distance.

1,7/4,6,7/2,5,6,7,9,10/3,12 = $72

Fast and firm today.
GL
