Tampa Friday 1/9/09 P4
All the right moves yesterday until the 99.00 bomb in the 8th killed any hope to cash a ticket although a couple brave and confident souls went home with 14K +
Today looks to be fairly approchable with a modest ticket since excluding the obvious due to scratches (My Best Pal Red and Promulgation in the 8th; Fire Chief in the 10th) Race 7) Do not know what to make of the 1 County Kerry - A KY bred making her NA debut off a highly uninspiring effort in France 3 months back. Certainly has the breeding to turf route, Cotto knows his way around the turf course here and Lee Delacour has done little wrong spotting her horses so far this meet. No crazy about this one, but will include. Top pick for me is the 2 Kiss the Soldier - just missed at first asking last out and with one under him and first lasix should be sitting just off the speed signed on here ready to pounce. 10 Peinture Fraiche from Joan Scott's barn draws outside and cannot be discounted although the stretchout and post are questionable. Race 8) Really nice OC32K/N2X - using 3 here; 6 Cheif Talkeetna going for 7 in a row; 7 True Wink off the layoff for T. Richey; 8 Stormin Yank Centeno aboard Race 9) Easy single here - 9 Castles in the Sky Centeno/Ness are back, this one towers over the rest of the field Race 10) Going to use a big price here, 5 Sea Salty Run 30-1 - he occasionally shows signs of life at this level and considering the weakness of the balance of the field may wake up and grab it. 3 CBT Trick Halo goes for 29% Nabu Morales who's 17% off the layoff. 4 Golden Citizen EK - Dale Bennett/ Daniel Centeno 1,2,10//6,7,8//9//3,4,5 = 27.00 |

I don't know how many times I can leave Scase off my ticket and not learn something Used the Dini horse (went 6 deep to catch it) in a saver P3 to ease the pain |
