Default Where is....

the horse I believe his name was "Arrrrrr?" I was at Toga last summer when he won and the track race caller was GREAT calling this horses name as he surged for home.

Im not sure if thats his name but it was something along those lines. Anyone know what happened to him?

Totally disagree........Durkin is a genius and did a great job calling the winner's whimsical and obscure name.

I vowed that I would never attend a day at Saratoga when that horse was running again. The call was terrible, but the people in the stands? Much, much worse.

I'm not sure I know what you mean about the people in the stands but it reminded me of Slambino's win at the spa. One couldn't tell from the youtube video but the crowd reacted to Durkin's call down the backstretch
........and the trailer is......SLAMBINO" I was baffled by the crowd reaction except to guess it was a cool name he had highlighted in a previous race call but the best was yet to come...

Ah, slambino. I didn't get there in time to bet him. He has been in my virtual stable since he was named after the yearling sale and I inteneded to bet him because of his last start, but the friend I was with complained about getting to the track *too* early .

If I remember correctly, a certain forum member said he was a good bet next out too.

Agreed. But Doremefasolatido was definitely a close second.

Looks like he got the winter off. Some trainers still do it that way, instead of running them 12 months a year.

Thought he did a very good job with "Adastraperaspera" yesterday at Aqueduct.

That's a rough one.
