Are We Dreamin

Good name for this 5-yr-old mare running today in the Bed of Roses at AQ. She's started 42 times. The 2nd highest number of starts in the Bed of Roses is 14.

Last year Are We Dreamin had 19 starts, finishing 14 of them in the money. She seems outclassed in today's race, but I'm rooting for her.

"Are We Dreamin" could apply to the connections for running her today. It also could apply to the fans, who are getting to see a nice horse run this often.

Bed o' Roses ran 46 times, won 18, including 11 stakes races, 7 of them at 2. She beat the boys in America's St. Leger, the Lawrence Realization, and finished second in the Travers, third in the Santa Anita Maturity (later the Charles Strub S).

She did better than just cross the finish line! Finished 2nd of 4 earning $30K. Look for her again in 2-3 weeks.
