They wouldn't take Gomez down in a 5k claimer. Do you really think that they would take him down in the Kentucky Derby? He's the Teflon Don when it comes to that.

Please. It is against Coa! He's just pissed that he didn't get the chance to bump him first. He is closer to a street hood on the track than anyone. But, I certainly did notice the bump. Not sure if it would have been upheld but there probably should have been a quick objection lodged. I do find it hard to worry about Coa being impeeded however. There was an interview in the Saratoga Special last year, I think, where he was quoted as saying that he didn't care about his popularity in the jock's room and he will take his risks with the rules and if he gets suspended, that's ok. So the stewards may have also been influenced by more than the teflon jock that Gomez tends to be.

What about Raffie on Papa Clem? He was there right in the thick of it.

Raffie is almost as busy cheating as Gomez n' Coa. This really is a case of asking two cheaters to call an inquiry on another cheater. They probably were more likely to be giving him props.

NO ONE was beating that horse. that was an incredible effort by a horse and jockey and they shouldnt be cursed for winning.

congratulations to all parties involved.

they're talking about the late bumping between the place, show and fourth place horses.

and it's not sore losers claiming foul on the winner-they're talking about POTN clearly bumping the two horses to his outside, possbily keeping musket man from placing. no one is saying the incident affected the winner.

Seriously, after watching that replay, that was nothing at all. I'm having a hard time understanding why some are getting so worked up about it (even if those three horses had come in 1-2-3). Nobody went off stride, or was impeded. That was barely a blip on the "bump in the homestretch scale", especially compared to what the winner went through at the start.

Ya after seeing the head-on, there were no actual bumping going on but POTN did shift outward a bit which triggered Papa CLem to impede MM. I guess it could be like one of those NBA no-calls
