Default My Day with Rachel

So, I spent most of the day Friday on the rail in the 1st floor clubhouse..but an hour before the race six of us went up to the 3rd floor clubhouse in the owners section. Four NBC cameras in front of us, Jeff Mullins behind us...and Ivarone with a HUGE body guard to the right of us. We had two Churchill EE's dedicated to us for "IF" Rachel won. The prepped us on the rush down the stairs and through hallways across the track..on to the turf course for the winners circle. It was an amazing experience. I also met IWR connections will in the winners circle...crazy/fun people and I felt horrible for them Sat morning. I made the front page of the Lexington Herald-Leader if anyone still has Sat edition.

It was a dream come true for me, and I have nothing to do with the horse other then a family connection. They all went back to Lexington and partied at Sals which one of the "Big" farms rented out for them. I stayed in the ville to prepare for Saturday.

Sounding like I will be making my first trip to Belmont.....

Thanks All...

not sure if this link is gonna work...but here I am in the winners circle from an espn photo. I am the one on the far right with dark hair..behind the owners daughter in the black hat. Better yet, I was with the 3 ladies kneeling down in front. The one in the middle is my wife.

Not the level of details we get from Scavs...but great moment and one you'll look back at forever. Brig a camera next time!

Very nice!
