Default Next Stop Belmont

Gitano Hernando, owned by Team Valor, trained by Marco Botti. He runs in the Dee Stakes at Chester tomorrow, possible for the final leg of the triple crown..

Interesting, I must have missed that news. I always found it fascinating that Team Valour bought him.

messy race but he ran well and was just beaten a head. the first 4 were separated by about half a length. I wouldn't say the Belmont is unreachable now, but if I wouldnt be quaking in my boots afraid of him. I'd predict he would do better than Dr. Greenfield did in 01!

So what did you make of the Ormonde S? 53 seconds over the standard. Commentator had it when he said the start looked like one of those bicycle races where nobody wants to take the lead, all wobbling about; the three were in a hand canter coming out of the gate. Amusing, but not a definitive test, I would say. <grin>

It was a farce.

Made me laugh.

Seriously however, those kind of races will ruin british racing.
