Wow, actually has some non-MC winners in it this year. Sales races can be so variable in quality from year to year.

Seriously, Pomona is Martin Pedroza's playground; the rest of the riders just pick up his leavings. May be a minor player on the major circuits, but here he is the king.

Actually, 2 of the last 3 winners (PSU Grad and Quick Little Miss) of this race ended up running for the most part in graded stakes company. The former just ran in the Ballerina at Saratoga recently.

David Flores is no slouch when it comes to Pomona, either.
