Default Hero law enforcement officer

tasers 10 year old girl/criminal... her crime: refusing to take a shower!

I want to write "only in Arkansas", but I'm not so sure.

He didnt taser her for refusing to take a shower.

This young girl obviously has some emotional problems.

She was kicking the cop in the junk and her own MOM told him to taser her.

Who knows what is the right thing to do, but like it said in the article, if he tried to cuff her she could have broken an arm.

I dont think the cop should get slack for this.

Why do the police have to be involved in the matter of an unruly 10 year old girl? Why did the officer have to handcuff her? Even if the mother is stupid enough to authorize the tazoring, the officer should be smart enough not to. You want non-lethal force, why not just shoot her in the leg with his revolver? Tazers are not safe, and back in the day, parents dealt with unruly children. I must be getting really old, because I just don't get it.

I do agree that her mother needs to figure out how to control her kid.

We dont know all the details though.

But yeah, what Mother calls the cops on her 10 year old daughter?

i bought the paper today, but have yet to read it. however, i did see the headline stating the officer has been suspended.

as for the mother asking for him to do it...my mother asked my father more than once to kill me. thankfully, he didn't follow thru on that!

Upon further reflection, I think it qualifies as child abuse no matter if the mother gave the cop permission or not.
