Saarland and Pure Prize wherent exactly stars on the track either.. Both seemed to be headed for nice careers at stud. Remember Shug isn't exactly the most aggressive trainer in the industry. |

![]() He ran wll on Poly and if that tendency, like grass ability is comething his foals could inherit, he could do OK. He's got a ton of family. I wonder who will be breeding to him.

![]() most of them are too high. pioneerof the nile immediately comes to my mind when thinking of the subject. what's col john starting at-i bet he's overpriced as well.
when the phone doesn't ring, it'll go down. but yeah, he has an impeccable pedigree. but a lot of horses have nice bloodlines, and are standing in obscurity for next to nothing. |

has had a few that look decent. Pure Prize has popped a few as well. I am never objective when it come to Phipps so my opinion is completely jaded. |

![]() The US-based first-year sires for next year is a below average. The foreign line-up (Sea the Stars etc.) is stronger. When there's a weak line-up you can take a shot with some of them at a higher stud fee.
