Default Know you got horse racing in your blood

This is sort of stupid so if you dont care then dont read further.

I was at breakfast this morning with some horse buddies and we were talking about things you do that indicates that you are a horse racing junkie. One of the things that each of us has done was pretending we were in a horse race while in the car. For exampe, if you pass a car on the turn you think to yourself "the 4 horse coming around the outside for the lead." Another was when you point out a marker up ahead of you and you get there before the car next to you and you say "the 4 horse wins by a nose." I know, this is retarded but I do these things and it is so sad.

EB...you are not alone my friend....a buddy and I used to meet up at the OTB at nights for harness racing....we would be sending each other text messages back forth saying things like...."Im 2nd over, but have live cover. May duck back in and take the lightening lane home to the wire"

We send each other stupid sh*t like that all the time...so no, you are not alone.

EB...this guy and I were nuts....we both love Balmoral Park and if one of us got there before the other, we would take a picture with our camera phone of the American flag on the satelitte TV from Balmoral and send it to the other with the caption "take your hat off."

I know I'm a complete dumbass when it comes to those types of things, but you know what, I believe in laughing and having a good time in life, no matter how stupid or simple it may seem.

I often have imaginary hypothetical horse races while riding my bike. I pretend I am a track announcer and announce a race as I am riding, and get involved while pedaling.

I think that is probably not uncommon. I certainy see horse NAMES everywhere I look. And horse racing terminology. It permeates how I look at life.
