Pine island looked brilliant. Once she was set down for the drive with a furlong left it was over. WLA bounced, adieu continued her cycle of good race bad race good race bad race.

WLA looking more n' more like she is a Belmont-loving young lady.Nothing wrong with that.I have seen her full of run 2x,and both those races were at Belmont.

Man Castellano is lucky he gets Pine Island cause Johnny V rode one for Pletcher, I wonder if he gave Johnny a high 5 when he got back to the Jockeys Room, make that a low 5 , what there jockeys man

Wonder Lady Anne L's best stakes runs have been on off tracks. The mud at Belmont gave her an advantage she didn't have at Saratoga. Moreover, a one-turn 10f is a different race from a two-turn 10f. Too bad the CCA Oaks isn't still 12f like it used to be - Pine Island would have eaten that up.
