Lorena calls it quits
Retiring at age 28. She always talked about not playing a very long time, but to retire from competitive golf at such an early age is a bit of a surprise. Wish her the best. She will go down as one of the nicest players ever to walk the fairways of the LPGA. Never heard a bad word said about her.

Zero chance that she stays retired. Non story, unless there is a health issue that is causing the retirement. As long as she is healthy, she'll be back.
Over-under on when she plays competitively again....1 year. |

I heard it was a walk-away, but I'm not retiring yet. Hopefully, she get a good rest and do the family thing for a bit and return to her game in a bit.

problem is if she has a couple of kids over the next few years she will miss out on a lot of her prime years , it's a tough situation for lpga golfers
