Classic Derby Movie.....
I just re-watched the old 1934 classic movie Broadway Bill, by great director Frank Capra. excellent movie with many actors that would eventually wind up in Capras, Its A Wonderful life. You will laugh, cry, etc,,, And be amazed at the striking resemblance of Broadway Bill to Rachael Alexandra! Markings and all, its simply uncanny. Check it out, you will be glad you did.
It was later re-made and called Riding High with Bing Crosby just as good too......... :
