Derby Trail Contest: The Finale
Here it is, the final race of the 4th Annual Derby Trail Contest. It may seem like Duvalier has this contest in the bag but remember, there’s a “bonus” built into this contest that rewards you for picking the winner of the Derby in a prep race So, just a reminder, if the horse you picked earlier in this contest wins the Derby, you will get a "10 times the earlier race payoff" bonus... for example, if Stately Victor wins the Derby, declansharbor will get a $1,254.00 bonus (10 x $125.4, Stately Victor's pay-off from the Blue Grass) and he will most likely beat Duvalier and win this game
Also, we are playing for prizes, they are: 1st Place: A Trophy AND BRAGGING RIGHTS! 2nd Place: Horse Racing prize package 3rd Place: Calder Race Course Briefcase Last year the Derby bonus didn’t have any effect as Scav pulled out the win Second place went to Thunder Gulch and third place went to jms62 – congrats to all of them! Good luck everyone! CHURCHILL DOWNS: Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (Grade I) RACE # 11 DISTANCE: 1 1/4 Miles PP’s: BRIS Post # Horse Jockey Weight Equip. Ice Box Alt: Super Saver Want to say Good Luck to all. My first year in this contest and as a DT'er. I'm on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship right now between Cozumel & Miami, great place to be but will probably miss the Derby live unless I pay the 0.65 cents a minute to watch on-line. Thanks to Derby Cat for running this contest! |

Needing a head exam - I'm siding with DerbyCat, who I wholeheartedly thank for running this contest - and going with Jackson Bend. Hope he can rate just off the engine, and get the distance that everyone (myself included) seems to think is impossible without a trolley car.
JACKSON BEND
