Just in case you've forgotten, this problem was decried all summer long, but the Dems had to get this done. Well, it's reached epic proportions(deficit) and still the Fraud has the temerity to say we cant let the the doctors suffer
and there's got to be a better plan! So WTF was he doing for 6mos while the debate raged on??

I'm sorry, but this guy has done nothing positive for this country.....and he had it all going his way but POOF....it's all gone.

So, the GOP is against increasing taxes on oil companies, taxes that would pay into a spill liability fund.

So, in spite of this bill extending several popular tax breaks, the GOP are fighting this bill to protect the oil companies.

Got it

Monster bill was pushed through Congress, and it was much ballyhooed that the Docs were gonna get screwed, but the Dems didnt want to hear it. Now, Republicans are upset because Obama NEEDS untold billions more to cover his
ass again!

I know it's hard for you, but FOCUS! The article had nothing to do with taxing oil companies it had to do with some of the problems this moroniic healthcare bill gives life to. If you want start anther thread..... LOL and answer the Carter question when you get a break.

It's one sentence, a very small part of the bill and a smaller part of the article.

I thought BP and their insurance companies will be held responsible for this? Now Dems want to make the damages done by a single company be paid for by all? Even those who are safe and have a perfect record?

I guess it is similar to health care in the aspect the healthy, responsible citizens will foot the bill for the obese and smokers who, in a large part, are directly responsible for their pre-existing conditions and thus higher insurance premiums.
